We had some comments from the last post about seeing parts of the actual reman processes.

Here, most of the reman steps are done including all testing, diagnosis, and parts replacement. This Reman Tech is torqueing fasteners in the intermediate governor housing assembly process on this 3406 C pump.

We torque all fasteners and retainers to spec in order to ensure proper clamping force and sealing of all gaskets, housings, and covers. There are about 30 more assembly tasks until final inspection and calibration – and this pump will be done.

Trained eyes out there will immediately recognize the new parts that we always replace and never reuse. Of course there are many more new parts in the pump housing as well. Hope you find the post interesting. Please let us know if you have questions.
